Nova has plans to grow to meet the increasing need for women and children to find safe housing after DV or homelessness. Our first step is to open an innovative community hub, where women and children can access the services they need, access our caseworkers, free items like food and toileteries, take a shower or do their laundry, all from one location. We need your help to make sure the Hub is a safe and welcoming space for all clients. Click on the link below to make a tax deductible donation.

When women and children come to us after leaving DV or looking for safe housing, we want to make sure they have the basics they need, like toiletries, because everyone deserves to feel clean and cared for. Thanks to the DV Collective and Proctor and Gamble for providing 9 large moving boxes of toiletries for the women and children we serve.

The next generation are so important in Nova achieveing it's mission of ending domestic violence and homelessness. We are so thankful to the Year 12 class at .grammar.school who have chosen Nova for Women and Children as their charity partner for their cohort's fundraising in their final year of schooling. As these young leaders of tomorrow prepare for their next steps, we are proud to help empower them with information about the realities of domestic and family violence, and encourage their commitment to make a difference. The students recently held a crazy sock day and bake sale raising $1,400 towards their fundraising for Nova. Thank you Year 12! All the money you raise will make a positive impact and help women and children to rebuilld their lives and start over.

Building positive relationships is at the heart of everything we do at Nova for Women and Children. These gifts were received by one of our caseworkers from a client she had supported to start over, not only with safe housing and a plan to stay safe, but with a new sense of direction and renewed trust in others, and most importantly, in herself. It's such a privilege to do the work we do 💗.
