THAT’S A WRAP, NEWCASTLE! 👏

Now that our pools have officially closed across all locations for the winter season, we’re looking back at the incredible summer we shared together. A massive thank you to our amazing community for bringing the energy to Newcastle Pools this season!

Our 2026 Summer Highlights 🌞:
💼 Free career pathways created for local youth through BlueFit training and qualifications.
🌭 Hundreds of families joined us for our free community open days (and we flipped over 400 sausages on the BBQ!)
🏊‍♂️ 60+ school swimming carnivals hosted across our five inland facilities.
🛝 18,000+ brave swimmers conquered the Lambton Pool waterslides.
🏁 Thousands of you took on the challenge of our giant inflatables.

From the teams at .au and , thank you for making this summer one for the books. We already can't wait to welcome you back!

📲 Keep an eye on our socials for reopening dates and upcoming community events. 🙌🏻

A familiar sight for generations of Novocastrians 💙

Here's a throwback to Lambton Pool in its early days… a place where many of us have enjoyed school carnivals, swimming lessons, hot summer days, birthday parties and best of all.. the water slide!

Now that the cooler months are upon us, Lambton Pool will join our other inland pools in closing for the winter break. Lambton Pool's last day this season is Sunday, 31 May.

Vital off-season maintenance and cleaning will be carried out over the break to ensure our pools are safe, accessible and enjoyable for our community when they reopen later this year 🌞

Barry the rooster has officially clocked in for his shift at the pool 🐓💦

Strutting around like he owns the place, supervising lifeguards, and making sure everyone sticks to the rules (especially no running 😅)

Safe to say… Barry’s taken “poolside presence” to a whole new level.

Mornings at Lambton Pool! 💙

Our regular crew show up rain, shine...even chilly mornings! Bringing the energy, the laughs, and plenty of smiles. It’s more than just exercise, it’s a community that starts the day right ☀️

Seeing your familiar faces in the water each morning is the best part of our day. You truly make Lambton Pool so special! 💦
