itical role in resisting occupation, inspiring change and revolution, throughout history, and particularly in Palestine. Israel has murdered academics, poets, artists, intellectuals, and musicians, in what can only be interpreted as cultural eradication. However, the words of Refaat Alareer ring eternal: 'If I die, you must live to tell my story.' The narrative of resistance lives on in the words of those who survive, sharing their stories and bringing attention to truth.
