Unvaccinated cases rise
Data from Hunter New England Health (HNEH) shows that since September 14 unvaccinated people between 10 and 49 have made up the vast majority of COVID cases.

It reveals that about 67 per cent of cases are unvaccinated, 25 per cent have had their first shot and just eight per cent had received two doses.

There's been a record 97 new cases announced in the health district with concerns for Aboriginal families and the unvaccinated.
