I wasn't sure how today would go given the downpours of rain but I think it was a magnificent wedding. We had to rush to get undercover but such a happy bride and groom. Two people who are so well suited.

Today I went to the opening of the new facility at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services. What a great facility to look after our community at a hard time in people's lives.

I was especially impressed with a man by the name of Ricky. Such an Intelligent man who wears many different hats. He not only takes care of the deceased person's body but does his best to make them look their best. Nail artisan, beauty consultant, artist, and so many more roles to ensure our loved ones look their best at their end of life. I could have spoke with him for hours. His passion for his role and the care he shows his clients was so evident throughout our conversation.

As a celebrant who feels respect for the family going through this time is paramount, I was really impressed with the behind the scenes look today and the care shown by the staff.
