🚨 ‼️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ‼️🚨

We have seen a recent increase in structure fires in our local area. Our crews are ready to respond however we need community assistance to ensure we are responding as safely and as quickly as possible.

It is important to be aware of the following:

🚒 Fire Appliances require 4m of clearance

⛔️ Blocking access delays emergency service response times

You, our community, can assist by:

✔️ In narrow streets park on the same side as other vehicles leaving clear access

✔️ Talk to your neighbours and share this post to bring awareness to the access requirements

✔️ If you have a hydrant at the front of your property please DO NOT park on top of it

✔️ If you have a hydrant at the front of your property please keep it free and clear of bushes, scrubs and debris

✔️ Ensure your street number is clearly visible on your letterbox

A delayed response puts property and lives at risk. Please help us ensure we can support the community during an emergency.

Tuesday night we had a visit from Karen who organises the Mother’s Day Classic at Lysterfield Lake each Mother’s Day. This is a fun run to raise money for breast cancer research. Karen presented us with an appreciation certificate. For the past couple of years we have been at the run supporting our local community.
