🔥 Youth Zone is back tomorrow! 🔥

Join us at the Nannup Recreation Precinct from 3.30pm–5.30pm for another laid-back afternoon of fun, connection and creativity.

Last session saw an awesome turnout, with indoor hockey, fresh scones and plenty of laughs. Youth Zone is all about giving local young people a safe, welcoming space to hang out, build skills and shape what comes next—whether that’s sport, cooking, photography or video.

✅ Free, drop-in style
✅ Open to local youth (including bus travellers)
✅ Snacks, activities and good company included
Come along, bring a mate and be part of something positive in our community 🙌

📣 Build Stronger Clubs & Committees – Free Online Series

Local clubs and community organisations are invited to take part in the Regional Governance Success Series, delivered by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport and facilitated by Caroline Robinson from 150Square.

Running online from 27 July to 23 November, this practical six part series is designed to help committee members—new and experienced—build confidence in governance, leadership and everyday decision-making. Each session includes real-world examples, tools you can use straight away, and time for discussion.

Choose one session or attend all six—it’s up to you:
• Foundations of governance – Mon 27 July, 5–6pm
• No one wants to be a treasurer – Mon 17 August, 5–6pm
• Running effective meetings – Mon 21 September, 5–6pm
• Forward planning – Mon 19 October, 5–6pm
• Where are all the people? – Mon 2 November, 5–6pm
• The future of rural not-for-profits – Mon 23 November, 5–6pm

🔥 Support R U OK? – Free Community BBQ Sunday lunchtime at Bowling Club

The Shire of Nannup and the Nannup Community Resource Centre warmly invite you to a free R U OK? community BBQ lunch at the Nannup Village Green.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming afternoon — enjoy a complimentary BBQ generously prepared by the Nannup Lions Club, connect with others, and remember that a simple “Are you OK?” can make a real difference.

This gathering is all about bringing our community together, strengthening connections, and learning how we can support one another’s mental wellbeing through everyday conversations.

• Free community BBQ lunch (thanks to the Nannup Lions)

• Meet the R U OK? Conversation Convoy team
• Practical tips on starting meaningful conversations
• A safe, family-friendly and inclusive space for all

As part of the Nannup LDAG initiative, Apryl (Shire of Nannup) and Shealie (Nannup CRC) will also be there to share resources and support positive conversations around mental wellbeing.
