We couldn’t be more proud of her and the continuous amazing work she does for the community and the members across Moreton Bay City!
Well done Diane, your efforts are appreciated by all ☺️🧡
Celebrating our Local Legends this Queensland Women’s Week - Diane Baker from Moreton Bay State Emergency Service ! 🧡
After witnessing travellers trapped in their vehicles with no access to food or water for days, Diane joined forces with local Kilcoy community members to provide support. This fostered a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose - to help others - so Diane joined the SES.
Diane is not only the Group Leader at Caboolture SES Group but a grandmother, school crossing supervisor, avid gym goer and races sled dogs during winter.
She's passionate about mentoring others and proving women can thrive in the emergency services. She is inspired by Caboolture Group's training officer Carollyn Hennessy who has a plethora of SES skills and knowledge that she willingly shares to build the capacity of others.
Responding to TC Jasper in Cairns was a true highlight for Diane. She was able to put her training into practice and support the community when they needed it most!
