MY FAVOURITE INITIATIVE
Working to a vision for RCMB as a blue and green oasis, I am thrilled that Council's Annual Plant Giveaway is back for its fifth year. Grab 5-10 native plants at Brinkley Reuse Centre, Sunday 3 May, 9am - 1pm. Species chosen to withstand low water and hot summers! Hope to see you there 😀🎄🌳🐝

THINGS TO DO OVER EASTER
Reminding residents that our Regional Art Gallery is open this Saturday and Easter Sunday 10am–2pm. If you have visitors staying, take them to see a very special sculptural exhibition, free entry for all and kids welcome too. Likewise our pool will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday – final days of the season. Give the family a swim before the pool closes!
Great things to do right here in Murray Bridge.

GREATER TRANSPARENCY COMING
I haven’t posted in a while but some of my followers may find this interesting!
Last month I requested administration set up Council meetings to be live streamed (as usual) but also recorded and available on our YouTube channel - for residents to watch us debate and decide important matters - at leisure. A simple request towards greater transparency – might take a little while but worth doing 😀

THIS IS EXCITING!
Council has warmly welcomed today’s announcement that a re-elected Labor Government will commit $4.85M funding toward the Sturt Reserve Play Precinct — a key feature of the Sturt Reserve Master Plan and a major boost for the region’s iconic Riverbank Precinct. The Sturt Reserve Play Precinct will not only replace vital community infrastructure damaged in the recent floods but will form a spectacular cultural centrepiece of Murray Bridge’s much-loved riverfront.
