The Rural City of Murray Bridge is excited to announce that nominations are still open for the 2025 Murray Bridge Sports Awards – a chance to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of our local sporting community.
This year, the awards program has expanded to honour contributions both on and off the field, with new categories recognising initiatives that support female participation, umpires and officials, and efforts that promote diversity and inclusion.

We’re calling on all local sports clubs to nominate deserving individuals, teams, and programs that have made a significant impact within your club and the wider community.

NOMINATIONS CLOSE: 30 June 2025

• Junior Sports Person of the Year Award
• Senior Sport Person of the Year Award (50+)

Whether you play, coach, or work in sport, this program provides the tools to step up, backed by a powerful network of like-minded women.

Led by Play Like a Girl, the program goes beyond the game. It’s about stepping into leadership, learning from top mentors, and gaining the tools to influence, inspire, and create impact - in sport, school, or the workplace.
