🚧 Important Traffic Update: Mount Lindesay Highway 🚧
We’re making progress on the Mount Lindesay Highway upgrade, and some key traffic changes are coming in August 2025. Here’s what you need to know:
📅 From 4 August 2025:
✅ A new northbound-only on-ramp from Brisbane Street will open.
❌ The existing highway access opposite Spring Street will permanently close.
➡️ Southbound access to the highway will now be via Johanna Street. Please note, U-turns are not permitted on the highway at the Tamborine Street intersection.
🚗 Motorists can travel southbound on Brisbane Street from the Jimboomba State School carpark.
📅 From mid to late August 2025:
🚧 Brisbane Street will be reduced to one northbound lane.
🚗 Southbound traffic on Brisbane Street will only be accessible via the Jimboomba Shopping Centre driveway.
⚠️ Speed Limit Reminder: Brisbane Street will operate at a reduced speed of 40 km/h during these works.
