🌱💚 COMMUNITY PROMISE GARDEN PLANTING DAY 💚🌱

Join us for a special Community Promise Garden Planting Day as we come together to raise awareness of elder abuse and show our support for the elders in our community.

Elder abuse can affect people from all walks of life and may include financial abuse, emotional abuse, social isolation, neglect, physical abuse, or controlling behavior. Through this community event, we'll learn how to recognise the signs, understand elder rights, and discover how we can all play a role in creating a safer, more connected community.

This meaningful event will bring together community members of all ages to plant a living Promise Garden, a lasting symbol of respect, kindness, and support for our elders.

Your registration includes:
🌻 Community garden planting activities
🎨 Rock painting activities for children
💚 The opportunity to make a personal promise of support
🌱 Information about recognising and preventing elder abuse
⚖️ A community Q&A session with a representative from Peel Community Legal Services
☕ Morning tea and refreshments

Got something broken you can’t quite bring yourself to throw away? This is your last chance to bring it in and see if our amazing volunteer repairers can help breathe new life into it!
