❤️ Federation council has recently expanded first aid equipment at several key locations by completing the installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

New Installations:
📍 Corowa Civic Centre
📍 Howlong Council Office & Library
📍 Mulwala Council Office & Library
📍 Urana Council Office
📍 Urana Works Depot

AED's are also available at the Corowa Aquatic Centre, Corowa Saleyards and the Corowa Works Depot.

These AEDs are installed inside the buildings and available when the building is occupied.

These devices are vital in an emergency, and having them on site can quite literally save a life.🫶

Phones, laptops, e-bike batteries. They all generate heat while charging.

Charging on a bed, doona or pillow traps that heat against fabric. Lithium-ion fires can start fast.

Charge on a hard, flat surface. Keep batteries off bedding.

🔥 Firewood collection season is now open until the end of September 2026.

Residents can collect firewood on designated Federation Council road reserves for home heating at certain times of the year with a permit.
