Mullumbimby Community Garden Men's Shed

Mullumbimby Community Garden Men's Shed Men's Shed is a non-profit organisation to improve the overall health of all males, but expanded to include anyone regardless of age or gender

Our Men's Shed is for those who want to remain active and have an overall goal. The shed focuses heavily on restoration and construction, while helping the local community. The core of our aim is focused on helping the local community interact and discuss their health and wellbeing, creating a space where people can unfold their creativity, hold workshops, enroll in courses or simply hang out toge

ther for a chat and a cuppa :)

With our Men's Sheds we are trying to help promote more social activity in the local area. Although everyone is welcome regardless of age or gender, we want to particularly focus on young men at risk, and create a safe environment for them to speak their thoughts, learn from older men, or simply hang out in male company and energy. Also we want to highlight the educational aspect of our Shed, where we aim at improving skills and qualities. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome, and any input is greatly appreciated. We are currently in a developing state, where we are still in the process of building the actual shed. We would like to make a warm plea to anyone who can sponsor, may it be in the form of recycle material (need heaps of that!), advertisement, helping hands, useful skills or financial contribution. If you want to see what we are all about, simply swing by on a Saturday between 8 am and 1 pm at the Community Garden in Mullumbimby and ask for the Men's Shed. Hope to see y'all soon!
