🖤 HELP THE CARNABY’S WHILE GREENERING YOUR GARDEN 🌳

Did you know planting native trees in your backyard can help support endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos?

Carnaby’s rely on native trees and vegetation for food, shelter and nesting habitat, and every tree planted helps create safer feeding corridors and healthier habitats for these iconic WA birds.

Even better, the WA Government’s Treebate program could help cover the cost of planting.

🌱 Eligible households can claim up to $150 back by purchasing and planting an eligible native tree.

It’s as easy as:
1️⃣ Buy an eligible native tree from a local nursery
2️⃣ Plant it
3️⃣ Upload your invoice and a photo of the plant label through the ServiceWA app

🌿 Eligible trees must be Australian native species that grow to at least 3 metres at maturity.

Every adult (18+) in a household can claim one rebate of up to $150 for one tree.

By planting native species, you’ll not only improve your garden and provide shade, you’ll also be helping protect important habitat for local wildlife, including Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos.
