📚✨ Adult Learners Week is coming to an end today!

Learning doesn’t stop when we leave school, there’s always something new to discover, explore and learn. 💡

To celebrate, we’ve had displays up across our library branches showcasing resources and inspiration for lifelong learners. Whether you’re picking up a new skill, brushing up on an old one, or simply curious about something new, the library is a great place to start! 🌟

Patrons also had the opportunity today to pop in and receive some dedicated help to access the libraries eResources! 📱

A big shoutout to all the lifelong learners out there, keep learning, keep growing and keep being curious! 💛📖

We were absolutely delighted to host a team from The State Library of New South Wales at the Mudgee Library this afternoon.
Students from Hargraves Public School and the local home educators group got to participate in an interactive historical presentation all about the early navigators of the Australian coastline, and hear about the history of First Nations people who lived along the coastline.
The students even got to view original historical artefacts, like a pocket globe, from the State Library’s collection!
Thank you to the team for bringing ‘Far Out: Treasures to the Bush‘ to us.

We won’t be running our usual term-time programs this week, because we’ll be busy welcoming lots of wonderful school visitors to the library! 🥳 We can’t wait to see everyone and celebrate the joy of reading together.

We have absolutely adored hosting sessions at the Mudgee branch yesterday and today as part of the 2026 Mudgee Readers' Festival, not to mention the author signing table!
