๐Ÿ“šโœจ Adult Learners Week is coming to an end today!

Learning doesnโ€™t stop when we leave school, thereโ€™s always something new to discover, explore and learn. ๐Ÿ’ก

To celebrate, weโ€™ve had displays up across our library branches showcasing resources and inspiration for lifelong learners. Whether youโ€™re picking up a new skill, brushing up on an old one, or simply curious about something new, the library is a great place to start! ๐ŸŒŸ

Patrons also had the opportunity today to pop in and receive some dedicated help to access the libraries eResources! ๐Ÿ“ฑ

A big shoutout to all the lifelong learners out there, keep learning, keep growing and keep being curious! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ“–

A big thank you to Michael Sweeney for presenting at today's Monday History Talks session at Mudgee Library. It was a full house (with a rather lengthy wait list) to hear all about the rail history of the Mid-Western Regional Council area.

What if your favourite story had a little upgrade? ๐Ÿ‘€

We went searching through the library to find the VOX Book version of one of our regular storytime favourites.

Our Storytime with Sound Books combine the joy of reading with built-in audio, so you can read along while listening to the story come to life. ๐Ÿ”Š๐Ÿ“–

We love it, do you?

We were absolutely delighted to host a team from The State Library of New South Wales at the Mudgee Library this afternoon.
Students from Hargraves Public School and the local home educators group got to participate in an interactive historical presentation all about the early navigators of the Australian coastline, and hear about the history of First Nations people who lived along the coastline.
The students even got to view original historical artefacts, like a pocket globe, from the State Libraryโ€™s collection!
Thank you to the team for bringing โ€˜Far Out: Treasures to the Bushโ€˜ to us.
