It's so exciting when the Fire Service comes to visit our Year 1 students to talk about good and bad fires and to "get down low and GO, GO, GO" It's even more exciting when the firies have to rush off to GO, GO, GO for a real fire. What a wonderful day our Preps are having dressed up as farmers. From straw hats and overalls to gumboots and flannel shirts, our little farmers looked fantastic as they immersed themselves in activities connected to life on the farm. Throughout the term, students have been learning about farm animals, crops and the important role farms play in providing food and resources for our communities.
A big thank you to our families for helping our preppies look the part for Farmers Day!

On Monday, our school proudly hosted the Term 2 Interschool Chess Tournament, welcoming an incredible 350 students from schools across the Sunshine Coast, from Noosa to Caloundra.

With six divisions catering for students from Prep through to Year 12, the day was filled with strategic thinking, concentration and great sportsmanship.

We were thrilled to have 40 of our own primary students, from Prep to Year 6, competing across four different sections, representing our school with pride and determination. Congratulations to all players who took part in a fantastic day of chess, particularly

Support-A-Reader Program

Our students have been working hard on their reading skills and love spending time reading with our wonderful Support-A-Reader volunteers each week.

The Support-A-Reader program provides students with extra opportunities to practise their reading in a positive, encouraging environment. These valuable one-on-one sessions help build confidence, fluency, and a lifelong love of reading.

A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers for giving their time to support our young readers. Your encouragement and kindness make a real difference!

🚧Important Community Notice 🚧

As part of our ongoing school improvement projects, the entrance to the school via Satinay Street is now closed until further notice.

To ensure the safety of our students, families, staff and community members, we ask that everyone does not use the Satinay Street entrance while demolition works are being carried out in the area.

While we understand this may cause some temporary inconvenience, community safety remains our highest priority throughout the project.

Please use the school's alternative entry and exit points (see attached image) and follow any signage or directions provided on site.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and support as we continue to make improvements to our school. We look forward to sharing updates on the project as work progresses.
