Today Gordon Ross and I attended the South Eastern Region RFS Queensland Medal Ceremony and Truck Handover at Hatton Vale State School. Where Gordon was presented with the QFM Medal and 1st clasp and I received the QFM Medal. There were also 32 others that received their awards. At the end they made mention of those who were unable to attend today and Barry was among those as he was doing his Crew Leader Training.

At last nights GM a presentation was made to Barbara and Joshua Quinn. They joined the Mount Walker Brigade on the 21st of August 2000 meaning they have now completed 25 years of service with the Rural Fire service Queensland. They received the QFES Medal and first Clasp, presented by Natus Barned and Ken Leisemann.
