🏕️🌊 YEAR 3 & 4 CAMP – DAY 1 UPDATE! 🌊🏕️

What a fantastic first day our Year 3 & 4 students have had at Tallebudgera! 💙💛

The fun kicked off with beach games and archery, with plenty of laughter, smiles and excitement along the way. 🏖️🏹

It’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, having a go and enjoying the experience together. Lots of fun has already been had and some wonderful camp memories are being made! 🥰

📚🎨💙💛 BOOK WEEK DOOR DISPLAY COMPETITION! 💛💙🎨📚

As part of our Book Week celebrations, our classes were challenged to transform their classroom doors into displays inspired by this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories.” 🎶📖✨

The creativity across our school was incredible! Each class put their own spin on the theme, making this year’s competition especially tough for our judges. There were so many clever ideas, colourful creations and wonderful ways of celebrating our love of books and reading. 📚🌟

After a very difficult decision, a huge congratulations goes to our 2026 winners – Prep/1M! 🏆🎉💙💛

Well done to all of our classes for getting involved and helping bring Book Week to life around SBSS. We loved seeing the creativity, teamwork and imagination on display! 📖🎶✨

🎢💙💛 DREAMWORLD EXCURSION – FORMS & PAYMENTS DUE TOMORROW! 💛💙🎢

A quick reminder for our Prep–Year 2 and Year 6 families that permission forms and payments for our upcoming Dreamworld excursion are due tomorrow, Tuesday 8 September.

📋 Please ensure your child’s permission form has been returned and payment finalised by tomorrow.

If you have already returned your permission form and completed payment, you’re all sorted — no further action is required. 😊

The excitement is high this morning as our Year 3 & 4 students head off to Tallebudgera for three days of camp adventures! 🚌🌿☀️

We hope our students and staff have an absolutely fantastic time filled with new experiences, challenges, plenty of fun and lots of wonderful memories along the way. 🌟

We can’t wait to hear all about their adventures when they return!

🌈🍕 COLOUR FUN RUN – CLASS CHALLENGE! 🍕🌈

Our Colour Fun Run is getting closer, and we’ve got another challenge for our classes! 🙌

🍕 The class that raises the MOST funds by the end of Sunday 13 September will WIN A PIZZA PARTY! 🎉 The winning class will be announced at our Term 3 Celebration Assembly.

This year, our P&C is doing things a little differently! 💙💛 We’re using a new fundraising platform with a greater focus on raising funds for our goal of new bubblers for the school.

Instead of lots of little fundraising prizes, all funds raised earn entries into our prize draws, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs – plus opportunities to SLIME some of our amazing SBSS staff! 🪣💚

🎟️ Every $10 raised = one entry into the prize draws
🪣 Every $50 raised = one entry for the chance to slime a staff member
