Eastern Hills Senior High School closed Friday, 12 June 2026.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, a burst sewage pipe has caused flooding across parts of the school, the school will be unable to open tomorrow, Friday 12 June 2026. The Department has prioritised the safety of staff and students. Due to the nature of flooding no one will be allowed on the school site for the entirety of Friday 12 June 2026. We are confident that the school will reopen as normal on Monday 15 June 2026. We sincerely apologise for any upset or disruption that this may cause you or your family. We will confirm the opening of the school to you by Sunday, 14 June 2026 by 12:00pm.

From School to Swans: Triple Debut Success! 🦢

How lucky are we 🖤🤍, a triple debut for three of our Upper School students last weekend with Swan Districts Football Club, what an incredible achievement!

Brothers, Tyler and Coby, took the field together for the Swans Colts side and Karri P made her debut in the WAFLW side, an outstanding reflection of their hard work, commitment and dedication as members of our school's AFL Football Program.

We couldn’t be prouder — congratulations on such a special milestone Tyler, Coby and Karri 🌟

🎓We Love Celebrating Success!🎓

At our school, we take great pride in celebrating the achievements of both our students and our staff, and today we are thrilled to recognise one of our outstanding teachers.

Congratulations to Miss Tangney, our Health, and Physical Education teacher, who on Thursday night received the Dux Award Curtin University for achieving the highest results in her Health and Physical Education studies.

Miss Tangney’s achievement reflects the same commitment, passion, and excellence that she brings to her classroom every day, inspiring our students to strive for their best.

Well done, Miss Tangney, on your fantastic accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate it with you.

🏀⛹️‍♂️⛹️Yesterday the Swan City Snipers hosted the inaugural 3x3 State School Cup. Students from three schools, Eastern Hills, Ellenbrook and Dianella competed in a Year 7 and 8 tournament following official FIBA 3x3 rules🏀⛹️‍♂️⛹️

All of our teams represented Eastern Hills with Care, Pride and Growth, consistently demonstrating our school values throughout the day. With no other schools able to submit a girls' team, our Year 7 and 8 girls chose to take on the boys’ competition showing resilience, courage and a fantastic attitude.

One of our boys' teams, Deagen D, Chase M, Wil d, and Knox V, progressed all the way to the grand final, where they played Dianella for a chance at the championship rings. They fought hard but were narrowly defeated by just a few points.

A special mention goes to Deagen, who received an MVP Award from Mr Lewis for competing at a consistently high level all day.

Well done to all teams. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to next year’s competition.
- Mr Lewis

Happy P&C Day! 🎉

Huge thanks to our incredible P&C for everything you do to support our school! 💙💛

From keeping our Breakfast Club going, to supporting our PE Department with faction tents, helping secure grants for our new handball courts, and funding this year’s Home Ec Cake Bake-Off, you’ve made a big impact. And that is just a small snapshot of all that you do!

We’re so lucky to have such a supportive and generous group behind us. We truly appreciate everything you do for our school! 👏

Year 7 Digital Technology students have been busy bringing their ideas to life! 🤖💻

Using Switch to code LEGO Spike creations, they’ve designed everything from cars and crawling machines to dancing robots. Through creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, students are testing, refining, and problem-solving every step of the way.

So many “wow” moments and plenty of innovative ideas—well done, Year 7! - Mr Hughes 👏
