VACANCY: AIRPORT MANAGER

The District Council of Grant is seeking to appoint an Airport Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Mount Gambier Regional Airport. This is an exciting hands-on role where no two days are the same; with the opportunity to contribute to teamwork, innovation and everyday problem-solving.

Key areas of responsibility include airport operations, security, asset maintenance, project and financial management. Working collaboratively, with a strong customer focus and a commitment to health and safety, you will be a leader who supports team members to work efficiently and professionally in serving the needs of the community.

Significant experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but is not essential. The position also requires flexibility to participate in a rotating-roster for out-of-hours monitoring to support airport operations.

Council offers a supportive, forward-thinking team culture and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Council welcomes applicants with suitable qualifications and experience and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people with disability.

If this sounds like an opportunity you would like to explore, please visit the Jobs and Careers section on Council’s website https://www.dcgrant.sa.gov.au/council/employment/airport-manager2 for information on how to apply, or contact the Council office on 87210444.
