Proud to reshare this wonderful tribute from Mornington Peninsula Shire celebrating our 90 years.

For nine decades, our volunteers have embodied what it means to be neighbours helping neighbours—answering the call, supporting one another and helping keep our community safe.

Thank you to every past and present volunteer, their families, and our community for your continued support. Here’s to honouring our history while continuing to serve Mt Eliza into the future.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, Mt Eliza Fire Brigade acknowledges and thanks all the dads within our Brigade, as well as those who support our members behind the scenes.

To the fathers who volunteer their time to protect our community, the families who support them when the pager goes off, and the dads, grandfathers and father figures throughout our community — thank you.

Your support, guidance and commitment help keep our Brigade and community strong.

We hope you enjoy a well-deserved Father’s Day with your loved ones.

A huge thank you to all family, friends, supporters and members of the community who came out for our 90th Celebration Torchlight Procession in the village on Friday night. It was a fitting way to celebrate 90 years of volunteer service to the Mount Eliza community.

Thank you to all the CFA Brigades that took part: Frankston Fire Brigade - CFA, Somerville Fire Brigade, Edithvale Fire Brigade (CFA), Carrum Downs Fire Brigade, Langwarrin Fire Brigade (CFA), Mornington Urban Fire Brigade, Patterson River Fire Brigade, Dandenong CFA, Springvale CFA, Tyabb Fire Brigade.

Very special thank you to those who assisted in the organisation and running of the event: Mornington Peninsula Shire, Cr Stephen Batty - MPSC, SES Frankston Unit, Eastey Fire Trucks Inc, Eliza bowling Club, & Mt Eliza Lions.
