π¨ Community Safety Simulation β Mount Barker Community College π¨
Tomorrow afternoon (21/10/25), St John WA Mount Barker, together with WA Police (Mount Barker) and Mount Barker DFES, will be participating in a Simulation Exercise (SimEx) at Mount Barker Community College.
This exercise aims to educate high school students about the importance of making safe decisions when driving or travelling as a passenger, and to highlight the real-life consequences that can arise from poor choices on our roads.
Throughout the afternoon, students will witness a realistic emergency response scenario demonstrating how local emergency services work together at the scene of a serious crash. The experience provides valuable insight into the roles of first responders and reinforces key road-safety messages for young drivers and passengers alike.
Community members are advised not to be alarmed if they see emergency vehicles, lights, or hear sirens in the area during this time β it is part of a planned training and educational exercise only.
We thank Mount Barker Community College, WA Police, and DFES for their collaboration in helping to keep our community safe through education and awareness.
