🌸 She Shed Market Stall – Come and Support Our Amazing Ladies! 🌸

The ladies from the She Shed at Mossman Support Services have been working incredibly hard creating and preparing a wonderful range of handmade items for sale at the Mossman State School Country Fair.

📍 Mossman State School

Every purchase helps support the ongoing operation of the She Shed, with funds going towards new materials, tools, and supplies so our participants can continue learning new skills, creating beautiful projects, building friendships, and contributing to our community.

The She Shed provides a welcoming and supportive space where women can connect, share ideas, learn practical skills, and work together on creative projects.

Come along, say hello, and grab yourself a handmade treasure while supporting a great community program. We look forward to seeing you there!

🔨 Men's Shed Update 🔨

Our Men's Shed participants at Mossman Support Services have been hard at work on a range of projects, showcasing their skills, creativity, and dedication. Recently, the group has been busy refurbishing a table and restoring a gun trophy, giving these items a new lease on life through careful craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Men's Shed provides a welcoming space where men can connect, share skills, work on practical projects, and enjoy social interaction in a supportive environment. It's a place to build friendships, learn new skills, contribute to the community, and promote wellbeing through meaningful activities.

Whether you're experienced with tools or simply looking for a place to connect with others, we'd love to welcome you.

💙🧶 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Crafters 🧶💙

As we prepare for our Beanies Fundraiser, we'd like to take a moment to recognise the incredible people whose generosity makes this event so special.

A huge thank you to the wonderful ladies of the local CWA, along with Jenni Walker, Jancie and Kirsty from the 2025 Oh Sew Crafty sewing group, who have generously donated their time, talent and creativity to help fill our beanie box.

Over the years, many kind-hearted community members have contributed handmade beanies to this fundraiser, and we are incredibly grateful for every single stitch, donation and act of kindness. Your contributions continue to help us support brain cancer research while keeping our community warm.

This year, we are also excited to have some beautiful hand-knitted and crocheted baby blankets, lovingly created by Colleen. These gorgeous winter blankets make a wonderful gift for new arrivals and will also be available to support our fundraising efforts.

When you purchase a beanie or blanket, you're not just buying a handmade item – you're supporting a community that cares and helping fund vital brain cancer research through the Mark Hughes Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the years. We couldn't do it without you. 💙
