| Road Crash Rescue, Friday, 5th June |
Yesterday afternoon at 04:30 pm, the NSW SES Moss Vale and Wingecarribee units were activated to a motor vehicle accident on the Hume highway.
On arrival, our team found a single vehicle had left the road and struck a tree, with the driver trapped by confinement.
Whilst NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver, NSW SES rescue operators stabilised the car before cutting and removing the drivers side of the vehicle. Then, working alongside Paramedics, they assisted in the safe extrication of the driver while firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service rendered the scene safe.
The NSW SES Moss Vale and Wingecarribee units wish everyone safe travels this long weekend and a reminder to take care on the road.
