Join us for our Community Planting Day. A rewarding event the whole community can enjoy. Together, we will help restore a beautiful local reserve and create lasting environmental impact.

Enjoy a free morning tea and connect with your community! All ages and abilities are welcome to join.

- Sun protection
- Clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy!

Some trowels and gloves provided, or bring your own if preferred.

Our staff come to work every day because they genuinely care about this community.

They’re the people answering your calls, processing your applications, maintaining your parks, and responding to your requests - and after hours, many of them are your neighbours, fellow parents at the school gate, and familiar faces at the local shops.

Like everyone, they have good days and hard days. And like everyone, they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect - whether that’s at our customer service counter, planting a tree on your verge, or when you bump into them while walking your dog.

We know that dealing with the local council isn’t always straightforward, and we understand that frustrations arise. If something isn’t right, we want to hear about it - and our team will always do their best to help.

We may not always get it right, but we’re always doing our best.

What we ask in return is simple: a little patience, and the same basic courtesy you’d extend to anyone doing their job.

Together, we make this a better place to live. That starts with how we treat each other. 💙

The first of 3 CCTV cameras have been mobilised in Mosman Park today, as part of our ongoing efforts to identify offenders and hold them accountable for illegal dumping.

While our new solar powered cameras don’t face houses, they are LIVE and they will capture licence plates 🚨🚗

Bottom line:

There is no tolerance for illegal dumping in Mosman Park.

Offenders risk significant fines, and the Town will continue to pursue enforcement action wherever possible.

Today we acknowledge the beginning of National Road Safety Week in Australia.

This annual initiative from the Safer Australia Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, in partnership with road safety organisations, is aimed at raising awareness about road safety and reducing the impact of road trauma.

Later in the week on Friday May 22, we acknowledge National Walk Safely to School Day, which encourages primary school children to walk to school and be alert to road safety.

We also shine a light on the important role that traffic wardens play in safeguarding children and the broader community at busy roads and intersections.

This is therefore an opportune time to spotlight our fantastic Beehive traffic warden, Trevor Sweeting. Trevor has been the traffic warden at Beehive for the past six years. He is married with three children, ten grandchildren and one great grandson!

Every morning before manning our crosswalk, Trevor swims 700m in the ocean at Leighton Beach. Trevor is a member of the Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club, and has been flying for most of his adult life in power aircraft gliders and ultralights.

Trevor enjoys his mornings and afternoons as the Beehive traffic warden. He loves that the children of Beehive are all so well mannered, and enjoys getting to speak with the parents every day.
