Mosman Park's urban forest is growing 🏡🌿

More than 200 trees have been planted across the Town this season, as part of an annual program that will see 400 native trees take root in streets and public spaces by the time planting wraps up.

Here's a map of where these 400 trees will be going. This week saw rows and rows of Tuart trees planted along Bay View Tce, outside our Admin office.

Greener streets, a cooler suburb - that's the Mosman Park we're nurturing.

🌿 Ground Maintenance - Tom Perrott Oval

Turf maintenance is scheduled at Tom Perrott Oval on Monday 22 June from 7am, with a second application of fungicide treatment to be carried out.

Town staff and contractors will be on site, and treated areas will be clearly marked with a foam indicator. The oval will be unavailable for sporting use for 24 hours after the treatment.

Works may be postponed if rainfall is forecast - we'll let you know if plans change.

We appreciate your patience while we keep our sports ground in top condition.

Night Works – Wellington Street | Friday 19 June 7pm-11pm 👷🚧

Wellington Street will be closed temporarily in one direction between Turnbull Way and Manning Street due to night works this Friday.

As these works need to take place within the angled parking area directly in front of local shops, the decision was made to complete them at night to help avoid daytime parking disruptions and minimise impacts on local businesses and their customers.

While works are carried out:
🔸Detours may be in place
🔸Access/parking at the chemist will still be available – please follow the directions of traffic controllers
🔸Traffic controllers will also ensure there is access to local properties

We understand evening works can be inconvenient for nearby residents and our local businesses. Every effort will be made to complete the job as quickly and safely as possible, with works finishing by 11pm.

Minim Cove Jetty works now complete ✅

The Minim Cove Jetty has reopened for everyone to enjoy following a brief temporary closure.

This recent closure was purely a safety measure while a damaged light pole was removed by Octennial Holdings, who are responsible for the jetty's ongoing maintenance.

Thanks for your patience and understanding while works were carried out - we know this jetty is a much-loved spot so we're committed to making it safe for everyone.

🌊 Protecting the views that make Mosman Park special

From ocean sunsets and river vistas to the iconic Perth skyline, these cherished views are an important part of our Town's character and identity.

At its meeting on 26 May 2026, Council adopted Local Planning Policy 40 – Views of Significance and its accompanying Guidelines, providing a clear framework for assessing how future development may impact significant views across Mosman Park.

The policy will help ensure transparent, consistent and evidence-based decision-making, while providing greater certainty for applicants and helping to protect the views valued by our community.

A big thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the consultation process. Your input played an important role in shaping the final policy.

The policy and Guidelines are now in effect and available on the Town's website.
