At Mornington Park Primary School our caring staff are committed to the development of the whole child academically, physically, socially and emotionally. Our philosophy is firmly based on the belief that within a stimulating, and caring environment, individual needs can be met to enable all students to reach their potential. We believe that optimum development depends on self-confidence and self-esteem, cooperation and consideration for others. In providing an outstanding curriculum, we are committed to the recognition of the individual. We have a traditional education and one based on the educational philosophies of Rudolf Steiner. Parents have a choice about the type of education their child enters into. We believe that a positive attitude towards learning is pivotal to success, and that accommodation of diverse styles of learning and acknowledgement of prior learning must underpin all successful curriculum planning. We are therefore committed to creating positive classroom climates, in which students are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their own learning as they progress throughout the school, and in which risk-taking is encouraged in the pursuit of personal excellence. At all times great emphasis is placed on building relationships amongst students, between teachers and students, and with parents and caregivers of our students. Mornington Park Primary School’s Art Show!
A little sneak peek at some of the beautiful artworks that students have been creating in preparation for the Mainstream Art Show. It will be held on Thursday 10th September between 2:30pm-4:00pm. Families are also invited to complete a fun art activity together with their child during the visit.

Students from Prep to Grade 6 enjoyed an exciting visit from ‘The French Circus School’, where they were immersed in French through movement, games, and circus activities. Anthony and Jess guided the students in French, learning a variety of circus tricks while building their confidence, coordination, and language skills in a fun and engaging environment.

The high-energy workshops had students laughing, participating, and using French in a meaningful way. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience language learning beyond the classroom and create lasting memories.

Merci beaucoup to The French Circus School for an unforgettable day of fun and French immersion!
