Every child has the right to feel safe, be heard and be treated with respect.

Throughout Child Safety Week, we’re highlighting the everyday actions our educators take to protect children and create environments where they feel secure, supported and valued.

QCCS has proudly submitted our organisation-wide pledge to NAPCAN:

A very special moment celebrating our Accreditation Certification with Stephanie Bennett, and recognising two truly wonderful educators — Miss Kathryn and Miss Darlyn. 💛

We are incredibly lucky to have such loving, caring and dedicated educators nurturing our littlest learners each day. Their journey has been about so much more than creating a beautiful nursery environment. They have thoughtfully transformed their space to be free from high chairs and bouncers, creating an environment where babies have the freedom and opportunity to move, explore, connect and develop at their own pace.

Their practice is guided by research, with a strong focus on supporting infants’ core development, building secure and meaningful connections, and recognising just how important those precious first 1,000 days are in a child’s life.

What makes Miss Kathryn and Miss Darlyn so special is their commitment to continually reflecting, learning and improving. They remind us of the importance of slowing down, being present, and truly connecting with our babies , seeing every routine, interaction and moment together as an opportunity for learning, trust and connection.

We are so proud of the beautiful nursery environment and practice they have created, but even more proud of the love and intention behind it.

Congratulations, ladies, on this wonderful achievement. Your dedication to giving our babies the very best beginning shines through in everything you do. 💛✨

Our little potion makers have been busy mixing, pouring and stirring their own magical creations.

Potion play encourages children to explore, experiment and wonder, building fine motor skills and discovering what happens when different ingredients come together.

A Beautiful Donation for Our Garden 🌸

A very big thank you to a wonderful family for generously donating these beautiful flowers to our service.

We are so grateful that she thought of us and donated them from her work to a new home with us! 💚

Our children will have so much fun planting and caring for the flowers, while learning about gardening, nature and sustainability along the way.

Thank you for your thoughtful donation and for helping us bring some extra colour and life into our outdoor environment. We can’t wait to watch them grow! 🌷✨
