Awarded for his service to medicine as a pathologist. Before embarking on his distinguished medical career, Roger was a force on the tennis court. Featured in the 1954 team photo (circled), Roger was part of the Sydney Boys High School First Grade Tennis Team that took home the CHS Premiership. In the days before the GPS competition, this meant conquering the state's toughest competitors, including Fort Street, Sydney Tech, North Sydney High, Randwick, and Hurlstone.
