Hi Community,

We’ve noticed a bit of a rise in pile burns lately. Just a friendly reminder that even though you don’t need a fire permit anymore, it’s still important to let the RFS know about your burn. You can do this online at
rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify

If you don’t, you might get a visit from the ‘Big Red Trucks’.

A Total Fire Ban will be in place tomorrow, Thursday, 29 January, for the Northern Slopes. Hot, dry and windy conditions are forecast across parts of the state, increasing the fire danger.

Take action now. Know your fire risk and what you will do if fire threatens. Report all unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).
