Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, uncles, stepdads and father figures who are having an impact on our student’s lives!

After breakfast, our Room 3 students and family members participated in a Popstick Challenge!

Yesterday we were honoured to welcome Thiinma Elder, Peter Salmon, collaborator Rosie Sitorus, Mitchell, Vicky and Mitch to our school.
They are in town to perform their Piyalbajarri Show tonight at the Gardiner Streets Art Collective, and made the time to stop by, share some stories and photos and sing some songs, in both English and Thiinma. We thoroughly enjoyed the storytelling, language, singing and humour and thank the group for sharing with us.

This week was Education Assistant Appreciation Week and we celebrated the amazing EAs and support workers we have at Moora Primary School. We are pretty lucky to have them supporting our students and think they are absolute superstars 🤩

❤️ RED WINS! ❤️

It was a cold, but fine day for our Faction Athletics Carnival and we congratulate Red for winning the shield!

Thank you to our wonderful Miss Harris and staff, as well as all of our fantastic volunteers and helpers today. Thank you to the P&C for all the yummy food and lovely coffee, and to Kumquot Cafe for providing lunch orders. Thanks also to Mick Windsor for shouting all of our students an icecream!

Well done to all of our students who participated and showed great sportsmanship. We are so proud of your efforts!

💙 KINDY ATHLETICS DAY ❤️

What a day we had in Kindy today! We had so much fun with our mini games - we threw beanbags for points, kicked balls into goals, had egg and spoon races, hurdles and vortex. But the best part was when everyone came to cheer us on for our big race on the oval! Thank you so much to Mrs Gardiner, Mrs Vanzetti and Miss Sam for such a great day 💙❤️
