Project Update – Our 2-Unit Community Build!

We’re excited to share the latest progress on our two-unit development — designed with accessibility, independence, and community connection in mind.

The interiors are really taking shape:

Flooring is down

Bathroom fit-outs are underway

Fixtures and finishes are being installed

Every step brings us closer to providing safe, modern and culturally supportive housing.

We are now seeking to partner with an NDIS provider who shares our vision of delivering high-quality, accessible accommodation that supports individuals to live with dignity and independence.

If you are an NDIS provider or know an organisation who would like to explore a partnership with us, please reach out — we’d love to connect and discuss how we can work together to support our community.

We are proud to announce that ITAC has teamed up with Foodbank Tasmania to support our community with access to healthy, nutritious food. 💜🥕🍎

This partnership will help ease the financial pressure many families face when trying to eat well. Together, we’re working to ensure that everyone in our community has access to fresh food and essential pantry items.

We’re grateful for this opportunity to make a real difference — supporting wellbeing, dignity and connection.

Exciting News from ITAC!

We’re thrilled to share a first look at our concept design for a brand-new housing project — a mini community designed especially for our Elders (55 years and over).

This development will create safe, culturally connected and community-focused housing, where residents can live independently while staying connected to Country and community.

We’re proud to be working alongside LXN Architecture, who are helping bring this important vision to life through thoughtful and inclusive design.

The project reflects our values of belonging, respect, and togetherness, creating spaces where culture can thrive and everyone feels at home.

This is just the beginning — we can’t wait to keep you updated as this exciting project moves forward.

Exciting News from ITAC!

We’re thrilled to share that ITAC is working in partnership with government bodies to hopefully establish a Community Garden Program in the near future!

This initiative will bring people together to grow fresh, healthy produce right here in our community — while promoting connection, learning, and sustainability.

Our goal is to support community wellbeing, provide access to fresh food, and create a space where culture, knowledge, and nature can thrive together.
