Ruby showing off her very impressive balancing skills ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’

Emperor tamarins use their long tails to help them balance as they move through the trees, leaping between branches and navigating high above the forest floor.

Despite their tiny size, these agile primates are incredibly quick and spend most of their day exploring, foraging and keeping up with their family group ๐ŸŒฟ

Did you know eucalyptus leaves contain powerful toxins, including cyanide-producing compounds? ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‘€

While most animals couldnโ€™t survive on a eucalyptus-only diet, koalas like Heath have evolved a super specialised digestive system that lets them safely break down the toxins. Basically, theyโ€™ve turned one of Australiaโ€™s most dangerous plants into their favourite snack ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿ’š

Pygmy marmosets are the smallest monkeys in the world? ๐Ÿ’๐ŸคŽ

Meet Nutmeg, one of our tiniest residents with the biggest personality! Pygmy marmosets use their sharp teeth to nibble into tree bark and drink sap, which makes up a big part of their diet in the wild.

Even though sheโ€™s tiny, Nutmeg is always full of confidence and curiosity. โœจ

Teko making sure Isalo knows exactly where he is ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“ฃ

Black-and-white ruffed lemurs are known for their loud vocal calls, which can be heard across long distances through the rainforest canopy. These calls help them communicate with one another, defend territory and stay connected with their group.

Safe to say Teko had plenty to say while calling out to Isalo ๐ŸŒฟ
