Have you seen the "Chat and Play" board at our toy library? These pictures are how some people communicate. You might have heard it called AAC or augmentative and alternative communication. We want everyone to feel included and be able to talk about their favourite toys!

Did you know we have a visual guide about visiting the Tea Tree Gully Toy Library Inc. ?
Sometimes called a "social script" it shows images and gives descriptions of things that might happen during a visit. These guides can support any anxious visitors and can help prepare for a visit. We have a copy available to use in the toy library but can also provide a copy to take home and read together. Let us know if this is something that would help support you and your child.

Welcome back for Term 2!

On Wednesdays we have a sensory friendly session from 1-3pm.
We keep the lights low, have our sensory supports available and also our member support team available for questions or support!
If this would suit you and your family please come visit during this time. We want everyone to feel supported at the toy library

We are partnering with TTG Library to offer this Stay & Play event. Come along to explore some fun toy library resources. Toy library will be open if you want to join or swap over your toys. Olivia from .adl is also coming along to share some tips on supporting child development through play

Looking for something to do together with your preschooler tomorrow? We are having a stay and play event. There will be plenty of things to play with your child. We are looking forward to having Liv from Littleversity with us too!

You don’t need a membership just to visit a toy library (this isn’t Costco 🤭).

The best way to see if it’s right for your family is to drop in and have a look around. Browse the toys, see what’s available, and have a chat with one of the friendly volunteers. They’re usually parents or carers just like you.

If it feels like a good fit, you can sign up for a membership that suits your family.
