The Mirboo North CFA station is preparing for some minor renovations to make it more suited to our growing family.
Our current meeting room is going to be upgraded to become our turnout change room, so our operational members have a safer environment to get dressed instead of the current tight squeeze beside our appliances.
The bottom level will become our new meeting room.
New shelving is to be installed in our storeroom.

These renovations will see us through until a new station is built in the new future.

None of these renovations would be achievable without the support from DCO Trevor Owen - CFA South East Region, Andy Oldroyd and the members of the brigade.
Hopefully renovations will be completed in a couple of weeks 👍

Woweee what a hectic day for the Mirboo North CFA family starting the day off with BA skills maintenance.
Then halfway through a call for a burnoff that escaped on farming land with another call coming in to support our neighbouring brigade Boolarra CFA with another escaped burn on farming land. This afternoon the same again another escaped burn on farming land in mirboo north with the help from Berrys Creek CFA CFA Dumbalk Fire Station Meeniyan CFA Boolarra CFA and Milford CFA. Please consider all burns must be supervised and sufficient water on site!

Today members from the mirboo north cfa attended Erica CFA 80th birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 Congratulations on this milestone, and thankyou for having us! 😀

Last night approximately 10pm the mirboo north cfa family was called to assist Milford CFA with a car down an embankment in thick bush and really difficult terrain. Fortunately all occupants were able to walk to the nearest main road safe and well checked over by Ambulance Victoria. Thanks goes out to FRV station 78 Victoria Police Foster Fire Brigade Dumbalk CFA Dumbalk Fire Station Foster SES 👍
