🎄 HAVE YOUR SAY – COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY 2026! 🎅

We’re starting to plan this year’s Community Christmas Party, and we want to hear from you!

Following the fantastic feedback from last year’s event, the Shire is asking the community what you’d like to see for 2026 – from the type of event and activities on offer, to the best day and time to hold it.

Whether you joined us last year or not, we’d love your feedback. Your responses will help us plan a Christmas celebration that our community can enjoy together. 🎉

👉 Complete the short survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZC2SV2Y

📅 Survey closes Friday, 25 September 2026.

It only takes a few minutes, so have your say and help us shape this year’s Community Christmas Party 🎄✨

R U OK? Day & World Su***de Prevention Day 💛

Today is an important reminder to check in with the people around us and start conversations that could make a real difference.

You don’t need to be an expert to ask someone, “are you OK?” Sometimes simply noticing, listening and being there can mean more than you realise.

In a small community, looking out for one another matters. Take a moment today to check in with a friend, family member, colleague, neighbour or anyone who looks like they might be doing it tough, or even like they have everything together.

📢 Let's be honest... a Local Law Review might not be the most exciting thing in your Facebook feed today. 😄

But local laws help guide many of the everyday things that affect our community, and this is your chance to have a say in how they're reviewed and updated.

Submissions are now invited as part of the Shire's Local Law Review and we'd love to hear your thoughts. Submissions close on 27 October 2026.

Contact the Shire for more information and submission details.
