💙 Celebrating the Special Men in Our Lives💙

What a wonderful morning we had with our students and playgroup families celebrating the special men in their lives! 🥰

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and special memories made as everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast together and joined in our fun and engaging Father’s Day activities. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the morning so special. We absolutely loved seeing our students and playgroup members spending quality time with the important men in their lives. 🫶

Today we celebrated our amazing and remarkable teacher aides, Miss Robyn and Miss Tracy! 💐

We are incredibly fortunate to have these two wonderful ladies as part of our Milman State School team. The care, patience, kindness and support they show our students each and every day makes such a difference. ❤️💚

From supporting learning in the classroom to encouraging our students, lending a helping hand and always being there when needed, Miss Robyn and Miss Tracy are such valued members of our school community.

Thank you both for everything you do for our students, staff and school. We appreciate you more than you know! 🥰

📚✏️ Narrative Writing in Action! ✏️📚

Our upper classroom students have been busy completing their English assessment this term, with a focus on Narrative Texts – Examining, Creating and Sharing.

Throughout the unit, students have explored the features of narratives, developed their own creative ideas and worked through the writing process to create engaging stories of their own. 📝✨

We are incredibly proud of the effort, persistence and determination they have shown. They have been working so hard, taking on feedback and challenging themselves to produce their very best work — and that determination is certainly paying off! 🌟

📚🌈 BOOK WEEK 2026! 🌈📚

What a fantastic day celebrating Book Week at Milman State School! ❤️💚

Our students arrived dressed as some of their favourite characters from the stories they love, bringing plenty of colour, imagination and fun to our school! 📖✨

But the BEST part of today? Our students created the staff costumes! 🤩

The students were given the chance to turn their creativity into reality, with staff proudly wearing clothing featuring the students’ very own drawings inspired by their favourite stories. From The Rainbow Fish 🐠, to Ninja Kid 🥷, Wombat Stew 🐨 and more, our students certainly didn’t hold back with their ideas!

There were lots of laughs, some very creative outfits and, most importantly, a wonderful celebration of the books and stories that inspire us. 💕📚

A huge thank you to our students and staff for getting involved and making Book Week such a memorable day! 🌟
