Wattle Range Council is in the process of developing its 2016 -2020 Strategic Community Plan - 2020 Vision. The plan is an important document that will provide guidance to Council, outlining the key areas of focus and how success in delivering the plan will be achieved. It is essential that the Wattle Range Council Community has involvement in development of the plan and this page has been set up

to help Council engage with our local community about the plan. This page is dedicated for communications regarding the 2016-2020 Strategic Community Plan and is not intended to address general Council enquiries, reporting issues or complaints, please contact council directly by phone or email to have these addressed.

Residents in the Millicent area are advised that there has been a spillage of material from an unknown source that is believed to be snail bait pellets, on the following roads: Saint Clair Road, Banya Road, Banya Road South, Hakea Drive, Wattle Road and Mayurra Road, Millicent.

Council crews have been dispatched to clean-up the spill however we are not confident we will be able to remove all of the material.

Pet owners are warned that the material could be potentially harmful to domestic animals, and that dogs and cats should be restricted from access to this area.

If animals are suspected of ingesting the materials, owners should contact their vet immediately. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact Council on 8733 0900.

Do you know any youth in the Wattle Range Council area that could take our survey? The survey asks about youth week; recreational facilities used; library services; future aspirations; volunteering; information technology; medical services; and what they like to do in their spare time. Youth can take the survey before it closes on Thursday 31 March 2016. Don’t forget to check with a parent or guardian before taking the survey. Youth completing the survey may go into a draw to win one of three prizes! Please take the survey titled "Wattle Range Council - 2020 Vision - Youth Survey". Thanks for your assistance.

Going, going … don’t let the survey be gone before you have had the chance to have your say.
