🚲BIG SHOUT OUT 🚲
Huge thanks to JC Action Sports for bringing the excitement to our Junior and Middle School students today with some seriously awesome BMX stunts. The jumps, tricks and skills were incredible, but the biggest takeaway was the powerful message about resilience, courage and never giving up.
Our students had a fantastic time and were reminded of the importance of working together and showing what it means to ROLL together — Respect, Overcome, Look and Listen.
What a wheelie great day! 🚲👏

📚✨ Celebrating Book Week ✨📚

During Book Week our high school students became storytellers, sharing books with our Miles State School students and helping to bring the magic of reading to life. 💙📖

It was wonderful to see our older students inspiring our younger learners — reminding them that reading isn’t just something we do at school, but a lifelong skill that opens doors to imagination, knowledge, confidence and endless possibilities. 🌏✨

💐🌸SPRING is HERE and with it we revert back to Formal Uniforms on Monday and Sports Uniform for the remainder of the week, unless advised otherwise.💐🌸

🌎INTERNATIONAL DAY @ YEAR 11 /12 BUSINESS 🛫
Today, Mrs Pinkney’s Year 11/12 Certificate III Business and Certificate II in Workplace Skills held their International Tourism Fair. Students were required to plan, cost and advertise a 21-night tour to four European destinations. They then had to present their tour to perspective customers. Year 10 History class obliged in asking the preset questions and assessing the student's ability to explain the tours. Some Year 10 students remarked later they would have even brought that tour which was a comment greatly received.

✨ An inspiring event is coming to MSHS! ✨
On Monday 7 September, Matty from JC Action Sports and his crew will be visiting MSHS to showcase their amazing BMX skills and share a powerful message with our students.
Through their performance and personal stories, they will encourage students to face challenges with courage, keep going when things get tough, and never give up on their goals. 💪🚴‍♂️
We are looking forward to a truly motivating and memorable experience for our students.
