Australian Manufacturing Week is being celebrated this week.

There are many manufacturing businesses in our area creating exciting job opportunities. Companies such as Laminex, International Roast, BlackMilk, Mack Trucks, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, Dulux, and Coopers cricket bats are just some of the well-known manufacturers operating across the Sunshine Coast region.

Many of these businesses, along with hundreds of other manufacturers and technology companies, were represented at the Australian Manufacturing Week 2026 exhibition held in Brisbane last week. The event featured more than 230 exhibitors showcasing innovation, automation, robotics, engineering, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Australian Manufacturing Week 2026 opened today in Brisbane, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers and industry leaders for three days focused on manufacturing innovation, automation and emerging technologies, according to organisers AMTIL.
