Today we celebrate International Volunteer Day and the theme “If Everybody Did.”

Thank you to the millions of volunteers in Australia who are making a powerful impact in communities across Australia.

Imagine more than eight billion of us across the world volunteering. There would be limitless possibilities for sustainable development – food and education for everyone, clean environment and good health, inclusive and peaceful societies, and more.

What if everyone did?

Now is the time to invest and commit to reinvigorating volunteering and be a part of a community working towards making volunteering the heart of Australian communities.
