Just a reminder there will be a test emergency alert tomorrow 27th around 2pm

On Monday 27 July 2026, we’re testing Australia’s new national warning system AusAlert.

An AusAlert test message will be sent to all compatible mobile devices across Australia at the same time. Depending on your location, you may receive the alert between 11am and 2pm local time. The test will occur during school hours in all states and territories.

AusAlert messages may appear on the phones, tablets and smart watches of children and teens. Apple iPads will not receive AusAlerts.

To prepare for AusAlert, parents, carers and guardians should help children understand:
📱 what AusAlert is.
⚠️what alerts mean.
✅ what to do if they receive an alert.

You may have already received information from your school about AusAlert testing. Follow your school’s advice about phone and device use.

Emergency alerts might be unfamiliar or unsettling for some young people. Our resources for parents, carers and students explain AusAlert and provide support information. Link in the comments. 👇

Please keep an eye out for missing Joshua, last seen in Melton on 4th July.

If you have any information please contact Melton Police Station immediately.

Joshua is missing.

The 25-year-old was last seen in Melton at approximately 3am on Saturday 4 July.

It's unknown what Joshua was last seen wearing but he is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall with a solid build, light brown hair, and stubble.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Melton Police Station on (03) 9747 7999.

Today myself and a fellow volunteer was out doing veichle maintenance, we decided, to get a takeaway coffee and muffin. We were about to pay, and this wonderful lady just paid for everything, for us! They also thanked us for the service we provided. I really hope this lady sees this message. It was such a beautiful gesture, and I wanted to give a big shoutout to her. Thank you so much! ❤️ ☕️💖🙏
