Imagine Melton offers our community the opportunity to participate, create
and express themselves through arts and culture. Every nation, country and culture uses the arts to create meaning, portray stories, reflect on personal and community aspirations and create a dialogue around identity of people, place and the environment. The Arts includes digital, visual, craft, literature, music, dance, th

eatre, singing, film and animation across a range of styles, genres and practices. The Arts plays an important role in our lives through enrichment, education and expansion of thinking and experiences by participants, audience and practitioners from different cultures. As well as continuing its support for the work of artists and craftspeople, Imagine Melton
seek avenues to encourage the establishment and functioning of creative industries in the City of Melton and encourages creative and
enterprising connections between business, education and the arts. Imagine Melton values and respects the arts and cultural interests of the community and their capacity to enhance social
well-being and express local identity. Imagine Melton supports a diverse range of programs, opportunities and spaces for artistic and cultural endeavours, fostering community engagement and participation.

Melton City Council invites skilled artists to create an engaging and inclusive graphic artwork that will be reproduced as a digital print for large-scale external windows at CS Gallery in Caroline Springs.

The design will be on display throughout the Christmas season and should reflect the theme ‘Celebrating Christmas in the City of Melton’. The work will be printed and installed at no cost to the artist, using Council suppliers.

Subsidised Market Spaces for Local Artists at Djerriwarrh Festival 2025

A number of Djerriwarrh Festival Market Stalls are reserved for local, established and emerging artists and practitioners to exhibit, demonstrate, or sell their work within a specially designated section of the Djerriwarrh Festival Market. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. Applications close strictly at 5pm, Sunday 7 September 2025.
(The selling of unrelated products including art materials is not permitted in this section. Those vendors are encouraged to apply via Urban Markets. )
