🚨 Applications Are Open – But Closing Soon! 🚨

The Maribyrnong Sports Academy has officially opened its Year 9 2027 application process, but time is running out! ⏳

MSA has an intake of just 26 student-athletes for entry into Year 9. In previous years, only a very limited number of places have been available at this year level, making competition for spots extremely high. 📈

Selection is based not only on current sporting performance, but also on demonstrated potential for development in high-performance sport, along with the ability to successfully balance sporting and academic commitments, effort, and behaviour. Athletes must have represented their sport at either State or National level. 🏆

🏑 Sandy Allen joined us last year as a Year 9 Hockey student-athlete and is thriving within the MSA program.

While Jin and Sam made it through to the final of the French Open they went down 6-4, 6-3 in the Quad Doubles Final. An amazing effort by Jin to make his first Grand Slam final. Plenty more to come. Well done Jin

Here’s everything you need to know before applying:

🏃 Limited Places Available
MSA has an intake of just 26 student-athletes for Year 9. With only a small number of places available in previous years, demand is expected to be extremely high.

📈 Selection Criteria
Entry is based on current performance, demonstrated potential for high-performance sport, and the ability to successfully balance sporting and academic commitments. Consistent effort, strong behaviour, and a positive attitude are also important considerations.

🇦🇺 Representation Requirement
To be eligible, athletes must have represented their chosen sport at either a State or National level.

🌏🥋 World Championships Poomsae Australian Team! 🇦🇺

With a great mix of youth and experience, Australia’s Poomsae team is set to take on the World Championships in Chuncheon, South Korea, later this year.

Congratulations to Year 11 student-athletes Sara Wong and Lachlan Ng on their selection in the Australian Team. Representing your country on the world stage is an outstanding achievement and a testament to your dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

Maribyrnong College Upgrades🏗️ Exciting times ahead at Maribyrnong College!

⚾🇦🇺 WORLD CUP TEAM SELECTION 🇦🇺⚾

Congratulations to Year 10 student-athlete Cruize Chase Tukapua on being selected in the Australian team for the Baseball U15 World Cup.

The tournament will take place in Mexico this September. Wishing Cruize all the very best as he represents Australia on the world stage. 🌏👏

Former MSA head baseball coach Scott Meager is also on the team as an Assistant coach.
