Opening an exciting new chapter for Japan and Victoria! 🇯🇵🇦🇺

Marking his first official meeting since taking office, Consul-General Mr. Jun Imanishi had the distinct honour of meeting with Mr. Josh Riley, Commissioner for VIC to North Asia (based in Japan) and First Nations Trade Envoy on 7th September 2026.

Their highly productive discussion set a vibrant tone for the future, reconfirming a strong mutual commitment to elevating the cooperation between Japan and Victoria to even greater heights!

We visited Animaga Expo Melbourne 2026!🌸

Animaga (anime, manga, games) is an annual volunteer-run convention focused on Japanese 🇯🇵 pop culture. This year the 🎨Artist Alley had 300+ stalls, and there were fun activities like panels from Japanese guests, a video gaming zone, idol performances🎶, and even spaces for plamo (plastic models) and lo**ta fashion fans!✨
