Docklands will come alive with fire sculptures, glowing installations, live music and roving performers across three unforgettable nights: Friday 4 – Sunday 7 July.

It’s the perfect excuse to rug up, take a wintery walk along the waterfront, and experience the magic of Victoria Harbour after dark.

If you're heading to the marina, you’ll have one of the best views in town – and don’t miss the vessels lighting up the harbour as part of the Light the Night Boat Display.

Light the Night! Register Your Boat for Firelight Festival 2025. 🔥🔥🔥

We are calling on local boat owners to be part of something special this winter. For the first time, Firelight Festival will feature an illuminated boat display — and you’re invited to join in.

From 4–6 July, light up your vessel and help transform Victoria Harbour into a glowing centrepiece of the festival. You’ll be part of a festive flotilla, on display each evening from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, with the chance to win the Firelight People’s Choice Award and a fantastic prize pack.

Berthing and power are included, and participation is free — but places are limited.

From 4–6 July, Docklands comes alive for the Firelight Festival — a spectacular winter celebration of fire, light, music, and community.

Wander the waterfront and take in glowing fire pits, illuminated sculptures, roving performers and pop-up entertainment — all set against the stunning backdrop of our harbour.

This year, the festival reaches onto the Yarra River with the Light the Night Boat Display — where local boat owners transform their vessels into floating works of light in a shimmering parade across the water.

Don’t miss the debut of Man and Fantastic Planet, two larger-than-life inflatable sculptures by internationally acclaimed artist Amanda Parer, lighting up Victoria Harbour and the surrounding precinct!
