HELP KEEP OUR LOCAL FUND!
Hot Meals in Ferntree Gully will be impacted!
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼
Knox Gives is in CRISIS! Funds will no longer be available to help pay for the much-needed meat to make 800 meals a week.
We need your help to raise $30,000 to help fund 5 local community programs. These programs are funded through the Knox Gives – Knox Community Welfare Fund.
For 40+ years the Knox Op Shop has been tirelessly raising funds for the Knox community. Funds are distributed through the Knox Community Welfare Fund – Knox Gives, a local charity, that has been supporting 5 essential Knox programs that assist those doing it tough.
Annually the fund, Knox Gives, supports:
· 3 Hot Meal programs that provide 30,000+ meals
· School Scholarship Program assisting 240 children with books,
uniforms and excursions.
· Christmas Support program that supports 1,000 Knox residents
with hampers and toys.
COVID has severely impacted the Op Shop’s capacity to fundraise with multiple lockdowns over the past two years. Even with the generous corporate financial support of SGS Logistics in Scoresby over the past two years, the fund is in threat of being suspended due to lack of funds.
We need $30,000 to continue to fund these programs in 2022/23.
We need your corporate and community support. Please donate to the Knox Community Welfare Fund – Knox Gives to save the fund and these essential programs.
