How do we make our community a safer and fairer place for older people?

Navigating and staying safe in the public space, and education about elder abuse, top the list when it comes to answering this question.

Yarra Council is hosting a special event, including afternoon tea, to raise awareness about both topics. An expert from Elders Rights Australia, and the Multicultural Liaison Proactive Policing Unit, will speak and answer questions.

When 2pm – 3.30pm on Thursday 18th June

Some beautiful moments captured from the Twilight Market on Monday 🌟
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special for our community. We are very grateful for the support from Department of Families, Fairness and Housing - VIC, Yarra City Council,, Community hair cut and massage , our amazing caterer, volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes to make the event happen.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with connection, culture, food, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a memorable event ❤️
