🏆 Congratulations to Sana Bahadur on a remarkable victory at the Bendigo Open 2026! 🇵🇰

The Consulate General of Pakistan, Melbourne, extends its warmest congratulations to Pakistan’s squash star Sana Bahadur on winning the Bendigo Open Championship 2026, held at the Bendigo Squash Centre from 13–16 August 2026.

Sana delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, culminating in a 3–1 victory to claim the title.

Her achievement is a proud moment for Pakistan and an inspiring example of the talent, determination and sporting excellence of Pakistani athletes on the international stage.

The Consul General hosted Sana Bahadur at the Consulate in recognition of her outstanding achievement.

A lively celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day was held at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Melbourne today, bringing together a large number of members of the Pakistani community in Victoria.

The programme featured the messages of the Honourable President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, speeches, cultural performances and presentations celebrating Pakistan’s rich heritage, achievements and national spirit.

The enthusiastic participation of the Pakistani community, especially young students, made the occasion especially vibrant and memorable.

In addition to commemorating Independence Day, a number of specially curated performances and presentations showcased Pakistan’s rich Mughal heritage and celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
